PUBLIC HARASSMENT: I HAD VISITED A LOCAL T-MOBILE STORE…

I had visited a local T-mobile store to find an employee that would know how to fix a broken feature on my phone. There were only three employees on the job and all of them were men. In particular, the one employee I was waiting on stood for a prolonged time period ringing up a middle aged woman’s purchase. Minutes before her departure, I glanced at him by accident. It seems this was all that it took to set him off. He then glanced at me a few times. When it was my turn he invaded my personal space and his face was literally a few inches away from mine. (He didn’t act this way with the previous customer) He demanded eye contact as he asked me what brought me into the store. I immediately felt violated and uncomfortable. Every response of his ended with a whisper of either “gorgeous.”, “beautiful.” Etc. I left feeling full of regret for not calling him out on his behavior.
