HOLLA ON THE GO: I witnessed this and did help…

I witnessed this and did help:
This is about white-supremacist, rather than misogynous, bigotry, but I think it fits.
One day when I was nine, I got onto a bus at its line’s terminus, where the driver could spend 15 or 20 minutes in an air-conditioned diner. The driver was white, and a Black woman came up to the stop just as he was getting ready to leave for his break. He looked at her and got out by the driver’s door, leaving her to spend 15 or 20 minutes in baking heat in the first week of September in St. Louis. So the second he was inside the diner, I got up and used the door-lever to open the door. She got on. paid her fare and sat down. When he got back, he ranted at length about how I could have moved the wrong thing, released the brake and killed everyone in sight. I just watched him with my precocious-nine-year-old gaze, and he finally ran down.
