HOLLA ON THE GO: On Hyder Street and 10th…

On Hyder st. and 10th st., I was walking enjoying in afternoon walk in the sun. I was fully clothed wearing lots of layers, this is Anchorage, Alaska in December after all. A Grey pickup truck license plate GPS 173 being driven by a man pulled up a long side of me. The driver rolled the window and hollered asking if I needed a ride. I quickly changed my direction and headed for an alley to escape confrontation. The driver started following me and pulled into the alley. He yelled again, “don’t you wanna hang out?!” At this point I was able to change direction again and get his license plate. He saw what I was doing and drove off. A few minutes later a different guy in a white business truck came by and asked if I needed a ride. I just flicked him off. Irritated, I walked home.
