HOLLA ON THE GO: Too much for 7:30AM

On my usual route to work, I walked past a man standing in a crosswalk. He appeared to be speaking to me and for a moment I ignored him, assuming he was saying something inappropriate. After a second, my empathy gene switched on and I looked at him, wondering if he actually needed help.

He proceeded to ramble on about my looks and god knows what else. I quietly but firmly said “hey,” and shook my head at him. This resulted in much more aggressive language and posture. I kept moving and fortunately he continued in the opposite direction.
