HOLLA ON THE GO: “There is a guy…”

There is a guy at work who just makes me uncomfortable – but he isn’t inappropriate, or I don’t think he is. I just have a gut feeling about him being strange and that’s it really.

Then today he was discussing me with a colleague calling me rude, aloof etc. and I just feel frustrated. I may not be the best socially but I don’t appreciate being touched or people overstepping my boundaries. And I’ll tolerate a bit of that type of thing, but not constantly.

I don’t think my reaction is inappropriate and I’ll say hi and smile if he wants but otherwise, I just try to avoid him.

Try to be able to tell or care if someone finds you uncomfortable, then fuck off or change your behavior. Don’t just assume somebody doesn’t mind being touched just because someone else doesn’t.
