Well I guess the best way to start this is from the beginning. On my walk from work to the train, which is about 4 city blocks, I came across a man sitting on the ground staring very intently at every woman who walked by. After a double take and further investigation, I noticed the man sitting on the ground, in front of the Starbucks bay window, was furiously masturbating under his t-shirt.
To avoid any and all contact with the man, I approached a group of women and asked them to call the local police because my phone is an out of state number and wouldn’t call Seattle police. After explaining to them why they should call the police, one of the women laughed, replying,”Sorry you had to see that, sweetheart, but the police won’t do anything about it.” About 30 yards away from the man I spotted a cop and explained to him the situation. He cut me off mid sentence and continued on his way.
Whether or not the man was apprehended or if the cop made it to the man before ejaculation is unknown. But what is absolutely astounding to me is the complete and utter disregard for something so disgusting. It was lucky that no children were in the immediate vicinity, or I would have had to do something to stop it.
The man featured in this photo exposed and fondled his penis in front of me on a Queens-bound N train around 8:20pm on Saturday, 14 June. I yelled at him loud enough for the rest of the passengers to hear, announcing that I was taking a photo of him for the police. He quickly returned to “reading his book” and hustled off the the train at the next stop. Police action still TBD.
Man at airport drop off was drunk, grabbing his genitals, and hit on me with invasive and inappropriate questions. Attempted to open my car while I wasn’t in it. Airport security responded very quickly and took him away.
At around 8:30 am while waiting for the downtown J train at Bowery I was followed and watched by a man who began masturbating. He stood about 20 feet away from me on the same platform. He looked right into my eyes. Thankfully, my train arrived soon after. I called 311 but was on the line for 15 minutes with no response so I gave up. Unfortunately, I was too shocked and disgusted to give this sexist pig a big FUCK YOU. Thank you, you fucking jerkoff, for ruining my Saturday.
A man stalked me around the front of King Soopers when my car broke down around 3am. I was in the lobby calling anyone I could think of who was awake to try and help me, when he sat on the bench next to to where I was standing and started masturbating. After ignoring him and walking across the lobby, he followed me and asked if I would like to have sex in the bathroom. All of this was on camera – after complaining to night manager, no action taken. The man left after I faked a 911 call!
While delivering pizza I went to an address where the man refused to come outside saying I would need to meet him in the hallway.
Upon transaction through doorway the man said I needed to return with change (.08 cents) upon returning with the change the man was wearing only boxers with erection.
As I use my personal cellphone to contact customers he proceeded to call my phone twice with heavy breathing/groaning before I figured out how to block numbers.
I work at Target, and one evening we had a man come into the store, head straight into the women’s department, lay down on the floor, and start masturbating. He was partly hidden behind the clothes, but a guest saw him and ran and told a manager. It was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen.
I ran down the stairs to catch the train at Forest Hills and as I rushed down, I noticed a man standing on the platform, alone, not getting on the train. In the few seconds before I got onto the train, I found it really strange that the man was just standing there. At first, I assumed he was waiting for another train or maybe waiting for someone else but as I turned to see him, his fly was unzipped and his junk for people to see. I just glared at him and as the train left he smiled like an ass. In that moment, I feel like my mind didn’t function. I should have given him my finger as the train doors closed or said something.
Did no one else notice him?
Not sure if this counts as street harassment as I was in my house when I happened… At about 11pm one night I heard this unnerving shuffling outside my lounge window…And when I turned on the outside light I saw a shadow on the curtains.
Lucky I still live at home and my brother was still up… I looked out my bedroom window to find some guy standing in the street… Fiddling away… Cops were called but he was gone long before they arrived. Can’t even feel safe in my own house.
I was on the tube when I noticed a man eyeing me up, he was attractive so I didn’t mind. I got off the tube and noticed him following me. Later I noticed him playing with himself from afar. I walked faster until I couldn’t see him anymore but not being familiar with the area meant that he had cornered me to say “stop teasing me.”
I heard a lady asking if I knew this man. I told her “no” and watched her expertly tell him to leave me alone and said she was not going to let him get away with this harassment and saw him run away with fear as she stood her ground.
Funnily enough I already knew of Ana Maddock. I knew she was well educated, had a career she kept private from her online life, she was friends with a semi-famous crowd. I already wanted to be like her before she saved me. She saved a complete stranger from being harassed and went on with her day to day life and I think that’s astonishing.
Thank you Ana Karina Maddock.
You did what I could only dream of doing.
